Forest offers a contemporary choice of double-glazing solutions to meet with the performance demands of the building regulations relating to thermal efficiency, fire resistance, safety, and sound reduction. This includes obscure glass, tinted glass, self-cleaning glass, fire resistant glass, laminated glass and toughened glass.
Our compound glass has a heat penetration rate of U-Value 1 W/m2K, which is far lower than the require u-value of 1.8 W/m2K, and provides powerful window thermal insulation.
Our standard range of argon filled double glazed units, consisting of 2 panes of 4mm float glass, reduces cold pane effect and condensation and achieves a 32dB reduction rating. Alternatively special acoustic insulation glazing is available on request.
